On Monday of this week the Manitoba Historical  Society Book  Club discussed Shelley Emling's 'The Fossil Hunter...' . Mary Anning's contribution to paleontology was considerabale.  It is unfortunate that the author does not have a better grasp of Enlish social history for  the first decades of  the 19th century.
